Sometimes, virtual world can be the one of the best partners that accompanies someone in a specific process even in a whole life. Hello everyone! It’s Ömer. I created this blog to reach a wider range of people in order to share my proccess during becoming a teacher and publish my ideas about education, English and Geography.

I am majoring at one of the most prestigious universities of Turkey is Marmara University located in Istanbul. In 2015, I was accepted by the university’s Geography Education department I am extremely into Geography and of course teaching. But it was not enough for me. I am also interested in languages especially English. Later on, I applied English Language Teaching department as double-major. And then, I was accepted. Right now, I study two teaching department at the same university and intern in a high-school as a trainee teacher. 

Do you wonder what eltography means? “ELT”is English Language Teaching and “ography” comes from Geography. ELT + Geography = Eltography. It may sound strange but I liked its way to represent my two interest areas.

Here, you’ll find my thoughts about English and its teaching, my experiences, my teaching methods, my posts about Geography and Geographical thought related topics. Well, we should not restrict that. As a both Geography and English teacher trainee, I’ll post here some entries about English Teaching, Geography and related topics. But English Teaching related posts will be more.
